Best Twittering Tips On How To Twitter Using Twitter Tools

Article by Tantawi Sagara

A glance on what is Twitter. Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co-workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?

This network is one of many ways for you to meet yourself online. Twitter asks you things like “What are you doing?” which gets us thinking about what I’m actually doing right now. Typically, we don’t realize what we’re doing or thinking until we’re asked, at which point we’re compelled to think about it, even if the asker was in fact a social networking site.

In March 2009, a Nielsen.com blog ranked Twitter as the fastest-growing site in the Member Communities category for February 2009. Twitter had a monthly growth of 1382%, Zimbio of 240%, followed by Facebook with an increase of 228%.

Because of such a high popularity that Twitter has created, people are constantly looking for a way on how to twitter, some twitter tips, who is the best twitter which in this case twitter refers to a Twitter user. Some programmers even created software that is refer to as twitter tools. Unofficially, twitter is a word now, where twittering is known as the verbs.

Now, I’m going to talk about the misuse of Twitter, the misuse of twitter tools to be exact. There is some software that let you automate your tweet. Well, a lot of people use this kind of software to pretend friendly which is actually good but they are using it the wrong way or maybe the worst way. What I’m talking about is they are abusing twitter using the tools; all they are twittering about is sales, sales, and sales. Some even use automated Direct Messages to instantly message you when you follow them. Now let me show you how to not twitter your account to dead with messages will look like this:

1. Hello there, thanks for the follow. Want to know how to earn $ 576K within a year online? Check this out. (They will put a link that leads to their capture page or some even worse to their affiliate page.)

2. Hi there, do you want to make money online? This is the best marketing system ever. Don’t believe it, just see it. (Another stupid looking link)

Now I was using that kind of way to market my business too which is absolutely wrong, and I changed. Some of you may be doing that kind of way too, but you’re reading this article which makes you better because you found a way to change and you want to change. Just take a look at the twitter tips I provided using twitter tools to automate your message and tweet but better:

1. Hello there my friend. Many thanks for the follow, are you on facebook? Let’s connect there too. (Then put a link to your facebook)

2. Hi there buddy, great knowing you. It’s so great that I just met a wonderful new friend today. You, let’s talk again.

There it is, it’s actually quite simple and that’s what you want, simple and friendly to the point that they won’t be afraid to talk to you. Now you have learned how to twitter well and survive in the stupid world outside that is full of useless tips and maybe hazardous to your health as a twitter. Now let’s do some twittering.

The next lesson on how to twitter well will be out tomorrow, I’ll be writing and make videos once a day so stay tune. You can be the first to reach my lessons, watch the video version, and know more about me directly by subscribing to my blog or visiting it, http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=TantawiSBlog&loc=en_US

Must-know Twitter Tips for Beginners

Article by Martin Sejas

Useful Twitter Tips for Beginners are what you will find in this article. But first, what is Twitter? Basically, it is a social network known for its micro-blogging feature.

It was created with the idea of giving any individual with an SMS service, the ability to communicate with a small group of their making. This would mean you could update your Twitter from anywhere and receive from anywhere. That is why there is a 140-character limit for tweets, because of this SMS aspect of Twitter. Since you are reading this article, it would most likely mean that you are Twitter newbie and are looking for Twitter Tips for Beginners. Outlined below are a number of helpful tips for you to learn and hopefully apply so you would better understand ‘Tweetiquette’.

1. Given that there is a 140-character limit for your tweets, it would be best to make use of URL-shortening services like tinyurl.com and bit.ly so you wouldn’t have to waste a number of characters on those long URLs you share in your tweets. Shrink your URL.

2. There is a Direct Messaging function in Twitter that allows you to send a private 140-character message to a ‘follower’. Followers are users that have subscribed to your profile page and are able to ‘follow’ you on Twitter. They are the ones that get to read all your tweets.

3. Retweet, baby! If you copy someone else’s tweet, it is only proper that you give credit to the original tweeter. You do this by simply putting “RT @name” in front of the tweet you copied and go ahead and retweet.

4. If you want to create a reply to a specific user on Twitter, place an @ sign in front of their Twitter name. This simply means that your tweet would begin with the character @. Clicking on @Replies from your profile page would show you replies to your own tweets.

5. When tweeting about a popular subject, make sure to place a # sign in front of the subject name. This would make it easy for other users on Twitter to find your tweet.

6. Intending to search for certain people, groups or topics on Twitter? Search.twitter.com is just what you need to easily pull this off. Save or bookmark this link.

7. Did I mention that Twitter was created with SMS in mind? Well, Twitter’s creators have definitely done that since Twitter allows you to update your status and receive update via SMS. To enable this feature, go to the ‘Devices’ tab under ‘Settings’ and enter your phone number so you would begin receiving and sending mobile tweets.

8. It would be wise to download a mobile client for your smartphone if you intend to follow Twitter on it. Mobile clients make it easy for you to use Twitter on your phone since tweeting through the typical SMS interface could be greatly inconvenient.

It is my hope that these Twitter Tips for Beginners be of much help to your Twitter experience!

Twitter Tips: How to Use Twitter For Social Marketing

Article by Rachel Jackson

Chances are unless you’ve been completely living in the dark for the past couple of months – you’ve been hearing about the phenomenon called Twitter.com.

Twitter is quickly becoming one of the most amazingly popular social media networking site on the World Wide Web. Now with over six million users (and growing!) this microblogging site has attracted everyone from President Obama to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Twitter is the must-be-on place right now on ther internet. It actually trumps Google but getting “real time” date about literally ANYTHING that is happening in our society today.

Admittedly, I didn’t jump on the Twitter bandwagon immediately. I heard about it over a year ago and I definitely underestimated the importance of how powerful this site really is.

But now, along with Facebook & YouTube, Twitter is one at the top of my priority list for Social Media.

So recently, a friend and colleague of mine was able to generate over 75 leads for his business just by sending out 1 tweet to his list of over 15,000 dedicatedfollowers.

How insane is that!?

75 Leads in 2 minutes…for FREE? Those same leads would cost $ 1-9 from a home based business lead provider. Say they averaged $ 4 each – that would have cost $ 300 for prospects that THEN YOU have to COLD CALL (blegh!)

Using Google Adwords? Probably would have cost DOUBLE THAT.

If you are looking to amass SERIOUS WEALTH online, then you need to be “tweeting.”

So, I’ve compiled a step-by-step guide thanks to my training with the MLM Mastermind System on how to dominate Twitter.

———————————————————–

Twitter Tips #1. Create an AccountGo to twitter.com and create an account if you haven’t already. Be creative with your bio and make sure you include your website link. This could be a blog or a splash/squeeze page.

Twitter Tips #2. Set up a Professional Looking BackgroundCheck out the free tools like: twitbacks.com or mytweetspace.com.

Twitter Tips #3. Manage your Twitter Account AutomaticallyGo to tweetlater.com and set up a free account with this ESSENTIAL Twitter tool. This will allow you to automate your “welcome/thanks for following” messages and create settings to unfollow those who do not follow you back. You can also schedule tweets throughout your day!

Twitter Tips #4. Purchase Twitter Friend Adder for $ 50It’s not NECESSARY, but if you want a way to automatically add Twitter friends and build a following – this is is. If you’re on a shoe-string budget? Just add friends one-by-one by finding other people of like-minded values.

Twitter Tips #5. Find Like-Minded Individuals to Followtwellow.comsearch.twitter.comtwollow.com

Twitter Tips #6. Free Tool to Manually Unfollow Those Who Aren’t Following Youdossy.org/twitter/karma, but if you have Twitter Friend Adder, you do not need this because it does it for you.

Twitter Tips #7. What To Tweet?Make sure your tweeting is full of useful content. DO NOT SPAM YOUR LINK OR OPPORTUNITY. Twitter success is dependent your willingness and ability to share content and info with your network.Share anything:

*Interesting*Educational*Funny*News-worthy

Twitter Tips #8. Re-Syndicate Content You LikeCan be your own videos, blogs, articles, or it can be stuff created by other people (especially popular content). digg.com is create source for other people’s interesting content.
