@pvanb81 Believing in God never hinders one with fear unless he has something to fear. Expand your mind as far as you can my friends. Man has perverted religion by its twisted need for greed and political gain. I respect your minds with great pride and believe strongly in the proof of burning questions. Its why we are what we are. God is perfect in all His ways and humans that plant the seeds of fear will pay my friends. Please do not take offense…..but may God continue to Bless and Love you.

I am truly sorry for you my friends. You are given a most advanced mind to better understand the way our creator works. You should be thankful everyday for this great gift. Please do not take offense to my words, for I mean you no disrespect. We can agree that science and religion truly go hand in hand. The only difference between the two is the lack of Faith to the proof by physical evidence. 100 years of reverence is better than an eternity of regret.

@fatfady2 you cant judge God you dont tell him whats wrong? or right he tells you* is what you wrote, i think your getting confused with chuck norris.Id want to be able to judge the persons competance and views on judging me tbh.If i lived my life as a gd christian and turns out cos i didnt touch kiddies like priests pastors imams monks ect do, i would be going to hell then id be disapointed really, wouldnt you?

I finally stopped fearing Hell when I realized there was no way that a kind, loving, just God would ever consider something so horrible, particularly for something as harmless as asking questions. Once that fear of Hell was gone, the rest fell away very fast and I was an atheist the next day.

The best answer to “What if you’re wrong?” is to consider how many religions there are that claim a monopoly on “salvation.” They can’t all be right, but they can all be wrong.

@Kill3rK3nn3th I’ll do you the favor of pretending you didn’t write that comment as it makes no sense based on the conversation I was having with fatfady2. It’s generally not a good idea to jump into the middle of a conversation without reading the entire thread. If you’d been following along, you’d have known that fatfady2 is the fearful Christian in this conversation.

What is more likely: God tormenting you for not worshiping him or the Devil tormenting you for worshiping God?

What is more likely: the Bible being 100% accurate or the Devil having wrote the Bible while on an acid trip?

@fatfady2 There has been an ongoing struggle between the big three faiths dating back to the crusades, and even in contemporary times such as in Bosnia where there was ethnic and religious cleansing. These two sides are certainly at war with one another. The struggle in the middle east is more than about territory it’s about culture and religion, and has been going on since Ishmael & Issac (albeit these folks are not real).

@fatfady2 This comment ‘there is only the muslim terriosts trying to kill everyone that is not muslim” is so historically naive. I side with no religion because there simply is no reason to believe this unbelievable nonsense, but to place the blame solely on Muslims (as though Christianity doesn’t have blood on it’s hands) is patently dishonest. The powers that be use religion to gain the support Christians, as do Muslims. Both groups want desperately to prove themselves right.

@fatfady2 The whole “you can’t really know Him” argument is a failure. Start with “He made us in his own image” and move forward from there. If we couldn’t really know Him, He wouldn’t have given us the Bible. See the failure in the logic?

You completely fall apart after that. We know His plan – it’s in the Bible. Takes us right to the end. Read the damn thing sometime. It’s horrifying.
